What, Me Worry?

You may have heard or seen that phrase associated with Mad Magazine in the past, coupled with their freckle faced character Alfred E. Neuman.  Mort Drucker who recently passed away had provided his cartoonist skills to many of the magazine’s stories.  For those of you who are seventies buffs, he also created the poster for ‘American Graffiti’ the movie from George Lucas back in the day.  The magazine of course was and is known for satirical humor and humorous portrayals of current events and people in the news.

The covid-19 virus outbreak has left little to smile at as we continually hear about the victims, economic impact, and all the other implications so present in the news.  We all need each other during these times, and humor where you can find it can help ease the burden.

However, you cope, whether it is social distancing at home or work, remember to count your blessings.  I do have to admit to something though.  I have tried to watch Tiger King, but I just can’t stand it.  Sorry to all the fans of that series.

All the best,
